AH MAI GAWD~! Things have been crazy. Good news: Marco got a raise at work! YAY! Bad news: My kitten has fleas. Baw. I know it's not much of news but it's something. Nothing has really happened honestly, besides stupid drama at work and between (now ex) friends. Sometimes I don't get people. Anyway we will be choosing the winner soon for the premium sub contest. If you manage to get your entry in before then you will be eligible. If you don't get it in before then, DONT WORRY. You will still make it into the portfolio that will be shown around to our community, which may even be donated to the local art center. Oo la la. There's Still A Chance!

Yesterday was Marco's birthday and I got to tell you all he loved all the work that has been given to him so far. He still wants to have the chance to sit down and look through all of them, but between work and everything else that could still take him awhile so what does that mean? You're still in this race!! Don't feel down cause you didn't make the birthday day deadline that doesn't even matter anymore! ((And next year I know what to do now haha.)) Just get your artwork in when you can and I hope to see more of your art!! His birthday was wonderful though. I bought him a bunch of ninja gear and a stuffed lion, alongside a rainbow dash tshirt he wanted. We had chicken pot pie and soda, then I made a brownie cake in cake pans and it came out wonderful!! Thank god. Anyway I hope to see more of that art in!!

So my sweetheart's birthday is coming up, and I thought it would be cool, that instead of a traditional gift I would try something fun! So I'm gathering as many Deviantart Artists (including writers) as possible to draw him/write something (nice please) about him! So far I got 4 artists! Woo! I think it would be a nice way to promote Deviantart Artists to our friends and family, as well as maybe giving a nice prize to the one he likes the best! A premium subscription!

Please please tell your friends about this, I think it would be so amazing for the community and just in general.

Almost The Birthday Day! [Frequent Updates Sorry!]

Edit:: I'll be updating this semi frequently so sorry for the spam of journal entries!

Tomorrow is Marco's birthday so hopefully I can show him all of your lovely work by tomorrow (including you all cause you should check out these artists who are being so sweet and donating something/trying to get something in time for his birthday), but if you can't finish by tomorrow don't fret! I will still show him all your work even if it is a bit late, and once all of you have finished donating something, done something and turned it all in I will print out all your lovely art on some nice paper and put it in a portfolio for him to always have. That way we can show it to all of our friends and family. I will give you ALL credit and put links to your works and everything else on it.

Next year I decided I should start this sooner (like a couple months or more ahead) so that way I can get more and more art and perhaps get tons more entries.

Now after he picks his favorite artist I will be giving out a premium sub! I'm not 100% sure how long it will be for at the moment due to financial reasons (the printing on nice paper is going to cost a pretty penny but its worth it for you guys) but you will find out soon enough! Also I am rushing to finalize getting all his presents (and making sure I got enough money left for rent and bills pffftt haha).

Also BOWLING! WOO! Going to do that tomorrow too!! So hopefully we will see more art from you all soon!!!

Morrowind 3.0 Overhaul [[Surprise Updates!]]

So Marco has been out of work for his wisdom like I said in my last journal, which means he has been home bored out of his mind. So the new Morrowind [[ yes we love Morrowind it's the best.]] Overhaul came out and it makes the graphics look just freaking amazing and adds a whole new experience to the game (the graphics are better than oblivion/almost Skyrim good). The thing is you need to have the game of the year edition to make it work. First I went to the bank to deposit some money so we could buy the game on steam.

Secondly I came home and bought the game after realizing I had installed it twice, I went back through all of it to try and find the dang game. After cleaning up and making it all nice I re downloaded the game along with all the various things the Overhaul (including the overhaul) needed so it would work. After a few frustrating hours I finally got it semi going, only to realize my drivers weren't up to date. So I went and updated them.

Finally after going through all this I finally install it, and the Overhaul looks beautiful. Marco was thrilled and went to play it. After playing it for only a little bit. It crashed. I was devastated enough for the both of us. I didn't understand why. After fiddling with it some more I realized, my god, my computer couldn't handle the extreme graphics and all the new stuff it was being forced to try and do. So I lowered some of the settings through the overhaul and then went back. Marco can still play it even though it runs a bit slow, which to him all that matters at the moment, but he promised to get me an updated processor (for me or him I wonder ;D). Though to be fair if he did do that I would play Morrowind just as much. It looks the pretty.

So now we wait! Also his birthday approaches so if you want to do a quick doodle let me know and check out the stuff below!

Also we are both playing Pokemon Black and White 2 and can't wait for X and Y! Or at least I can't. ;A; Also I have part of a script scribbled down for a Nuzlocke comic so maybe you will start seeing that.

Wisdom Teeth [[ More Birthday Surprise Updates ]]

So Marco just got his wisdom teeth taken out on the 15th and boy has he been going stir crazy. It's only been two days but he really wants to eat more food then the food he can! Though he is being a real trooper! He isn't on ANY pain medication except the ibuprofen and penicillin. So I'll be taking care of him for awhile and probably on and off fairly often. I still want to work on his birthday surprise but I really need to be here for him. On the other hand the amount of artists that are contributing has gone to new levels of AWESOME!!!
